Dr. Zhang Mei-Jun was born into a family of traditional Chinese doctors. She began practicing in Beijing at an early age and was permitted to practice at Chiu Yang Chinese Medicine Hospital on the strength of her family training. At the same time she attended medical school, receiving degrees in Chinese and Western medicine from Beijing Chinese Medical School and Beijing Cadre Health Institute.

 

Dr. Zhang makes diagnoses using both Eastern and Western medical perspectives, but she heals using Chinese methods. She considers stress, headache, anxiety and fatigue to result from blockages of the blood vessels and works to bring the body back into harmony by relieving the blockages. In Beijing Dr. Zhang is renowned for treating traumatic injuries of the back, neck and shoulder as well as ailments caused by stress and chronic fatigue.
 

Her work is known all over China and is now reaching other countries in Asia. Dr. Zhang treats high Chinese Government political figures and many people from the film industry.
